It was so lovely to catch up with this family again to capture their 2nd child Jonah at 8 months old. He was full of giggles and smiles and cute baby rolls.
If you missed the newborn stage for photographs then this is the next best stage when bub is sitting up but not walking yet and their personality is shining through.
Baby Emilia was 5.5 months old at her photography session.
She was booked in for a newborn session but due to last years COVID lockdown we had to reschedule, reschedule and reschedule. And were finally able to do the session.
This age however is great to capture those baby smiles and sweet expressions and Emilia was definitely a great little model.

There was no stopping the smiles and giggles at Hamish’s sitter photography session. At 7 months old and sitting up he was the perfect age to photograph.
At this age their little personalities and big smiles are certainly shining through. We also captured so many lovely photos with Mum and Dad too that will forever mark this moment in time.
Cara’s is another bub I had the pleasure of photographing as a newborn. Cara has a smile that lights up the room – I didn’t even have to do anything silly to get her to smile she just kept them coming one after the other. Mum wanted photographs of Cara to match her brother at the same age – you can see Giuseppe’s images here.
I’m sure these are going to look great on the wall and now Grandma has a collection of all of her Grandchildren at the same age.
I love capturing precious moments for families to look back on over the years. I first met this family for Thomas’s newborn shoot and now he is already over 7 months old. So much happens in their first year it is easy to miss some of their milestones like smiling, rolling, sitting and of course all the other cuteness that comes with a baby. I can’t wait to see them again later this year when Thomas will take on a cake to celebrate turning 1.
I have been photographing Selena each year since she turned 1. This year she turned 4 and as always she bought some of her special outfits along including her party dress and some princess outfits because what 4 year old girl doesn’t love princesses! I enjoy capturing each child’s personality and including items that mean something to them and in this case it is Selena’s princess dolls.
