Lochie is one proud big brother giving his new baby brother Charlie lots of smiles and cuddles during the photoshoot. Whilst I love capturing the all these images in a session the sibling ones are always my favourite.
When there is a sibling in the studio I let them settle in first and get comfortable with myself and the surrounding. We then we have fun capturing the sibling images and family images.
After that the older sibling/s can chill out on the couch (or sometimes be my mini assistant) while I capture all the other images to make up the gallery.
Having family portraits should be a fun and memorable experience and I do my best to make sure everyone enjoys their time during the session.

Chloe is a proud big sister happy to give her new baby brother Arlo lots of cuddles and kisses. And Arlo was just happy to chill out and have his photo taken. We captured some awake and some sleepy images.
Time has flown since Chloe newborn session – it’s a real joy to see families time and time again as their families grow and to capture these moments forever for them.

Baby Tommy’s newborn session was delayed last year to the COVID lockdown. When we were able to photograph him he was 10 weeks old. But what gorgeous images we were able to capture with his inquisitive eyes and baby smiles.
He certainly won’t be short on cuddles from his three big sisters and two big brothers. You can see in these images just how much they adore him.
Sessions with this family are high energy and always a lot of fun and I feel capture the personalities of all members of the family.

Baby Tyde is almost 3 years old now but I can still remember how much fun his newborn photography session was. It included, Mum, Dad, big brother and Pugsley the dog who is the oldest brother. Adding a family pet to a session can be very entertaining during the session and it’s such a great memory to have as well.
Often the fur baby is the first baby for many couple so they are definitely part of the family.

Heart melting moments happened everywhere at baby Olivia’s newborn photography session. This is the third time I have photographed this family, photographing big brother and big sister’s newborn sessions too.
Capturing these precious moments for families for now and into the future just makes my heart sing! I can’t wait to see their gorgeous album when it arrives int he next few days.
