A relaxed fun photo shoot (studio or outdoors), with the optional use of props. Preparation of your images and your in studio viewing and ordering session. You can choose to have your photos in print form, digital collections, canvas, framed prints and albums.
Why not get some friends together to put in for a gift certificate as a baby shower present for a newborn, baby session or a fun cake smash session is ideal for 1 or 2 year old birthdays.

Baby Bump Sessions
Between 32 & 38 weeks- There is something beautiful and magical in the creation of a baby and feeling it grow in your belly. I love capturing the feeling only a mother knows when they are growing this miracle within. For some people, it has been quite a journey to get to this point and it is nice to be able to savour the moment and feel beautiful.
- These sessions can include partners, other children or just the Mum to be. These sessions are also available in the studio or outdoors. Outdoor sessions are best done at sunrise or an hour before sunset when the light is soft and without harsh shadows and squinty eyes.

Birth photography
The MOMENT!!- It is such a privilege and an honour to capture the most intimate moments when a family meets and holds their bundle of joy for the first time.
- The birthing experience can be such a blur and many parents regret not having real memories of the experience to look back on. Usually one will be holding the camera and the other the baby.
- What I really love is capturing the love and tenderness of the partner as they support the mother during her labour and the moment you both hold your baby in your arms for the first time.

Newborn Sessions
Best under 2 weeks of age- I just love newborn babies, there is so something so special about their newness, soft skin, bright eyes and little fingers and toes.
- The best time to photograph newborns is in the first two weeks where there is more chance of capturing the sleepy, dreamy newborn poses. The best time to book a session is while you are still pregnant as once your little one arrives you will be so busy with visitors, feeding and getting to know them that time can just slip away (and before you know it you will have 5 year old!). Please still get in touch if your little one has already arrived and over two weeks of age. I can still capture beautiful images and may have some last minute availability.
- When you make a booking your due date will be pencilled in and once your little one arrives you just let me know and a date for your session will be confirmed.
- A session usually lasts for between 2 and 3 hours depending on how your little one is on the day. Sessions are relaxed and never rushed so that there is time for any extra feeds and comforting. I will work with your little one to ensure their needs are met.

Babies & Children Sessions
Between 7 & 10 months when bub is sitting up- Another great time to have your little one photographed is between seven and ten months old when they are sitting up. These are often called Sitter session for this reason. It’s a great age to really capture their little personalities and cheeky smiles. I also photography children of any age and love siblings to join in.

Cake Smash
1st and 2nd birthdays- A cake smash session is a really fun way to celebrate your child’s first birthday. For many kids, it may be the first time they have tasted such a delicacy. Seeing their eyes light up and watching their ingenious behaviour as they attack the cake is a memory you will want to treasure.
- Before each Cake Smash session I will also capture some timeless photographs without the cake. These sessions are also great for two-year-olds.

Family Sessions
Any age- Children grow up so fast and before you know it your little ones are almost as big as you. That’s why it’s important to have memories that remind you of your little ones and their milestones as they grow up. A Hen Photography family session can just be the kids or include the whole family are best held outdoors.
