Sweet baby Ava just 3 weeks old at her newborn photography session. This was another fun newborn photoshoot with lots of laughs and conversation along the way.
Ava’s parents saw baby Maverick’s photographs and were referred to me from Maverick’s parents. I love it when clients refer me as I know it means they truly loved their photographs and the whole Hen Photography experience.

It was another fun filled morning in the studio working with this family. Baby Ava was born a few weeks early and quite small so she was already 4 weeks on the outside when she was in the studio for her newborn photography session. Big brother Archer was a little hesitant to spend too much time with his new sibling but we still managed to get some sweet images of the two of them together and the whole family together. Ava will be well accustomed to Archer’s friends the dinosaurs who he loves to play with and kept showing her. Time will fly by and I’m sure it won’t be long till she is sitting up and able to play some dinosaur games with Archer.

Ava is such a little doll, at almost 4 weeks old she was still like a newborn and very sleepy too. Big sister Bella the dog came along to Ava’s newborn photography session for some sibling and family images. I love to include the family pet where possible as they are an important part of any family.

I first met Ava and her parents when they came to the studio for Ava’s newborn session. It’s amazing how quickly a year can fly by.
This cake didn’t stand a chance once Ava got near it. She certainly didn’t have any hesitation when it came to touching the cake and getting her hands stuck right into it. Her parents and I sure got a good laugh out of watching her smash the cake with lots of smiles and giggles and seeing just how far she could spread the cake around the studio. Oh and how cute is Ava’s outfit that her Mum made?

4 week old Ava didn’t want to play the game and sleep at first but once she did go into dreamland she was the perfect little model. She has the most gorgeous red hair, little cheeks and button nose.
You can see just how much joy she has bought to her parents life. I’m so happy I was able to capture these lovely memories for the three of them to share with their extended family and friends now and in the future.
