What a wonderful day it was. A beautiful intimate wedding at the gorgeous Pilu at Freshwater Beach.
I don’t normally photograph weddings but when one of my lovely clients asked me to photograph her sister’s wedding who was coming all the way from the other side of the world how could I say no.
The wedding had been delayed for over two years due to the pandemic and not being able to travel. I love that they still has the ring box with the original wedding date.
So many precious moments captured on the day – from getting ready at a local beach house, to the surprise kombi, the groom’s first look at his soon to be wife in her dress, to the beautiful ceremony location, the beach couples shoot and everyone together for the reception.
Wishing Shelly and James a lifetime of love and laughter together.

Baby Amelia came into the studio with her big sister Kayleigh and parents for her newborn session. Kayleigh was a wonderful big sister with lots of gentle cuddles, kisses and touches. So many beautiful images captured and to be treasured forever.
Lately I have been photographing many repeat clients. It’s always extra special when families come back time and again and I get to see the older children growing up and adapting to the new little person who has joined their family.

This is a throwback to Tyde’s Cake Smash session from a couple of years ago. I’ve photographed this family quite a few times before and they are always a lot of fun and a bundle of laughs. And the family pet is always welcome.
And trying to select my favourite images to show the family is always difficult with all the cuteness and smiles.

Chloe is a proud big sister happy to give her new baby brother Arlo lots of cuddles and kisses. And Arlo was just happy to chill out and have his photo taken. We captured some awake and some sleepy images.
Time has flown since Chloe newborn session – it’s a real joy to see families time and time again as their families grow and to capture these moments forever for them.

I’ve been holding off on blogging Sienna’s mini session from before Christmas as the package was a gift for her Dad for Christmas. Sienna is so engaging and we had a lot of fun shooting this session. I hope Dad loved the images of his little girl.

It’s always extra special when you have already met and photographed the parents to be before their little one arrives. We had a lovely Baby Bump session at a location special to this couple when they were 32 weeks pregnant. Little Bodhi was just the sweetest little man at his newborn session and I certainly had a smile on my face the whole time I was editing the session. Wishing this family a lovely first Christmas together.
