I fist met this family when big sister Selena was turning 1 and I did a Cake Smash session for her and since then I have photographed her every year for her birthday.
If you have a look back on Selena’s photographs you will see the family wanted to use the same set ups and clothing for Valentina. Do you think they look alike?

Kamaiah’s Cake Smash session was a heap of fun. She’s one bubbly, happy little girl. Her brothers are also so great at entertaining her and she just thinks they are the best.
I’m not sure if she enjoyed the cake or the bath the best but either way she certainly had a good time ad kept us all entertained.

This is the 3rd time in a year I have photographed this family. I first met them for Thomas’s newborn photography session then his sitter session and now to celebrate turning 1 with a cake smash photography session.
I have enjoyed capturing in photographs how much Thomas and his big brother have grown and changed in the year and to see those little personalities develop.
And Thomas certainly made sure he gave the cake a good nudge with some smashing and eating.

I was pretty excited to hear that Kenai was coming back to the studio for a Cake Smash Photography session. He is certainly a little character that is full of energy and personality. It’s hard to believe that a year has flown by between his newborn and cake smash sessions and it was fantastic that great grandma came along again to capture some precious moments with him.

Cake, pigtails, a rainbow and a bath – what a way to celebrate turning 1!
So many gorgeous memories to celebrate this time in Kayleigh’s life, including her cheeks, her hair, little pigtails, walking, giggles, surprised faces, cake smashing and bath time.

I love the colours chosen for Michael’s Cake Smash session and he had a pretty good time touching, playing with and eating his cake. I like to keep my Cake Smash sessions nie and simple so the focus is on your little one and not on all the fancy backgrounds and props.
To all those people with birthday’s during this COVID-19 period – don’t forget to celebrate with your family and a cake.
